This unit replaced our Dodge/Pierce mini-pumper. It's a 1995 4 x 4 Ford/Darley Viper mini-pumper. Has a Ford power stroke diesel with a 5-speed manual transmission. Contains 300 gallons of water, 10 gallons of Class A foam and a 500 gpm pto pump. It serves as a brush fire unit, initial attack unit (in the rural areas), mountain rescue, and a QRS unit. The unit has a pre-piped deck gun, various 1-3/4" preconnected crosslays, booster reel, and an electric inverter with scene lights. The front bumper contains a winch and two sprayers located beneath the corners for fire suppression. Has two Survivair SCBA's, various EMS equipment, rope rescue gear, a Sked stretcher, and a compliment of forestry firefighting gear. It has a hose bed full of 3" hose for supply line.
